Off late I have started to think it's not that easy to do this. Just few weeks you are busy then you think there's nothing to talk or say so why bother anyone. Then slowly you realize its been a long time since you have talked to so many people. Then you talk to some but still a lot of them are getting more and more out of touch and slowly you feel now you need a real important reason to call them. Then even if you talk its more formal and slowly you are going out of touch.
So the million dollar question stays there "How hard is it to stay in touch?"

Then and Now
Here I want to put a comparison between two Vizag trips, which I have made in quite different circumstances. First one was when I was in college and second time few days back after joining corporate world. Obviously, first trip was in econo mode and on second trip "No Cost was Spared" [To exaggerate a little]. Let’s see how the comparison goes.
First time, we ate in small restaurants waiting for our turns to get pooris and sabjees, ppl fighting with the kid carrying pooris, on whose turn it was to get the poori. This time we went to restaurants were waiters were better dressed, we didn't had to fight and it was all air conditioned. We had a very relaxed meal this time and were sure we will have somewhat healthier food. But thinking over again did I really enjoy this time or it was that fight and eating under mud huts that I enjoyed more.
During our first trip 7 people stayed in one room, which was not good enough even for 4. Once again fighting for place on bed, if lucky inside blanket and sleeping under constant fear of falling of the bed (as I was sleeping on the edge). Using a bathroom, that was so dark that if you are not attentive you might step into something you don't want to. This time it was a luxury AC room, with TV and nice and clean bathroom. Of course we were very relaxed, had a real nice time over there, and slept in nice and cozy bed. But revisiting the earlier experience, which was also not that bad. We did enjoy every moment of it and will never forget those.
This list goes on and on, last time travelled on local train standing for most of the time, this time it was a rented car. Normal sleeper was replaced with AC II Tier, room over the bus stop was replaced by a resort, though that resort was a little out of place for us as it was meant for couples (preferably opposite sex). So I try to go back to my college days trip, I remember how at that time I thought it would have been better if we had AC room, rented a car and gone in AC coach. This time I had everything but I think it’s not that room or car that you remember it’s the precious moments that you have spent with people you like, that stays in your mind. Be it fight for pooris, or playing cards on an AC berth, fear of falling out of bed or chasing crabs at 12 in night, it’s just enjoying the moments of your life.
To end it, I enjoyed both the trips, but I realized whatever I thought would have made my first trip better were not the things that really matters. It's the company that defines the moment, and I'm happy to have nice company on both the occasion.
